So lately I’ve been yearning to learn something new, to take on a new challenge and what was created took me by surprise. I had an idea did some research and created, the Life Of Kings way. Inspired by all things blue i.e. water, indigo, nautical, and Miles Davis  album “Kind Of Blue” ,  Life Of Kings creates six special pieces that conger up warm weather and sailing. As the weather in NY is far from the latter it’s ok to dream and maybe perhaps take a nice trip some where exotic. The pop up shop is open now, click Pop shop on the dash for the full  pocket square collection. Life Of Kings.

The Soulful Mr. Ellington is at it again this time I dug in the crates for classic Rob Heights material. Some of these are rare gems I kept for my ears only.  I remember living in Harlem on 128st and Lenox making some of these classic SoundMind Bangers. In Fact “Bang Bang” I made the year I met my wife to be 2003, yep 11 years ago.  Hope you enjoy the instrumentals. It’s always More Than Music It’s Life. Life OF Kings

The Album/Mix Tape is complete. Who and what is Mr. Ellington? An Idea passed my mind one night watching one of my favorite films GoodFellas, as I pondered the idea I thought what if the Karen and Henry Hill love story had soul music as the background music? So  I took that idea and produced Mr. Ellington A Love story. Simple soul music chopped up slowed down flipped around to tell a riveting love story. I dug the crates for the perfect songs and listened to chop the sweetest spot of the record to give you an idea of what goes on in my mind when I listen to music. Basically I here Hip-Hop all the time :D Enjoy this body of work I put together tell a friend to tell a friend spread love the Brooklyn way. Press Play and enjoy a soulful delight.
